The Realist Acoustic Double Bass Transducer
Description
The Realist Acoustic Double Bass Transducer is a pickup designed by bass luthier David Gage in collaboration with Ned Steinberger of NS Design and rests between the bridge feet and the bass top, which puts it exactly were the sound is transferred from the strings to the sound board. The result is rich, powerful response, both pizzicato and bowed. Its mounting hardware is extremely compact and with a high output gain it requires no external preamp. The copper foil sandwich construction provides total shielding to eliminate hum from light fixtures and other electrical or radio interference. Includes a Planet Waves cable.
